By accessing or placing an order through mycitydoors.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Products & Orders

All doors sold by My City Doors are sourced from European manufacturers and are subject to availability. Many products are made to order — dimensions, finishes, and hardware configurations are confirmed at the time of purchase. It is the customer's responsibility to verify all measurements and specifications before placing an order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity. You will be notified promptly and any payment will be fully refunded.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Sales tax is applied where required by law. Payment is due in full at the time of order unless otherwise agreed in writing for trade or contractor accounts.

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as listed at checkout. By providing payment information, you confirm you are authorized to use that payment method.

Lead Times & Shipping

Lead times vary by product and are provided as estimates at the time of purchase. My City Doors is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturing, customs clearance, carrier delays, or circumstances beyond our control. Customers will be notified of any significant changes to estimated delivery timelines.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and delivery location. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

Inspection & Damage Claims

You must inspect all items upon delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Damage claims must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence. Claims submitted after this window may not be accepted. My City Doors is not liable for damage caused during installation or after delivery is accepted without notation.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be modified or cancelled within 48 hours of placement at no charge, provided production has not yet begun. After this window, cancellations on custom or made-to-order products may be subject to a restocking or cancellation fee of up to 30% of the order value. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled.

Returns & Refunds

Please review our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details. In general, standard in-stock items may be returned within 30 days in original, uninstalled condition. Custom, made-to-order, and special-order products are non-returnable unless defective. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection of the returned item.

Warranty

Our products come with manufacturer warranties as outlined in our Warranty Policy. Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and do not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, or normal wear and tear. Installation must be performed by a qualified professional to maintain warranty coverage.

Intellectual Property

All content on mycitydoors.com — including text, photographs, product descriptions, logos, and graphics — is the property of My City Doors or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My City Doors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York.
